    Description

STUNNING NEW 6" OM AND LOTUS SYMBOL SUNCATCHER
Harmonize your home with this large genuine OM MANTRA AND LOTUS SYMBOL suncatcher that reflects the rising sun with shades of REDS, YELLOW, and BLUES. The OM MANTRA is in the center and around the edge are repeated depictions of the LOTUS SYMBOL pointing towards the blue edge, representing the sky.
It is a round glass panel with a secure metal rim and a high definition laser generated image of the OM SYMBOL & LOTUS FLOWER in the center that looks like stained glass. The detail is beautiful and the colors are vibrant. There is enough light going through it to make it almost 3D. I have had one hanging in the sun for over 6 months with no fading. The surface is coated with a UV protective clear coat.Includes a metal hanger and a suction cup. 6" in diameter.
    ABOUT THE OM SYMBOL
It looks a bit like the number 30 with a little hat on top. It’s probably familiar to you from the Om chant you hear at the beginning or end of some yoga classes. Made up of the sounds of the letters A-U-M, Om is all about threes.
With its roots in Hinduism, the Om symbol is said to represent the one-ness of all creation, including the heavens, earth and underworld. Others say it is the representation of the three Hindu gods, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Some say the actual shape of the symbol represents the syllables of the word: the ‘three’ being the Sanskrit letter for ‘aahh’, the small ‘s’ is the ‘oooh’ and the half moon at the top is the ‘mmm’ sound.
Om is considered one of the most powerful mantras, and the ritual of chanting Om has been done for thousands of
    years

    ABOUT THE LOTUS FLOWER
According to Buddhism, every person has the potential to become perfect and enlightened and it is just a matter of time until each human reaches the light.
Buddhists believe that it's necessary to be reborn thousands of times, polishing one's being through many incarnations until one reaches nirvana - the highest state of consciousness that humans can access. so, the Buddha is sometimes depicted sitting on a Lotus flower, symbolizing the one who overcame the pain of the material world  and prevailed and became enlightened, just like the Lotus Flower which starts to grow in dirty and muddy water but manages to surpass the water and produce a perfect flower. Many Hindu Gods are depicted sitting on or standing on a lotus flower for the same reason.
