28" smooth crafted hickory handle made by an Amish family a few miles from our store. Hickory is much stronger than ash or maple (commonly used by other axe makers).
Comes with a leather cover for the head made from USA cowhide. (It protects the edge from damage if it bangs against other steel tools in the bed of your truck. Be very careful putting it on and off because the edge is very sharp
