    Description

PetLac Puppy Milk Replacement powder is recommended as a complete food source for orphaned or rejected animals or those nursing, but needing supplemental feeding. Also recommended for growing or adult animals that are stressed and require a source of highly digestible nutrients.
Gently shake or stir one part of powdered Pet Lac into two parts of warm water. A part is any measuring device you use: teaspoon, tablespoon or cup. Do not use a blender.
All animals should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. The colostrums milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. Reconstituted Pet Lac should be fed at room temperature. Reconstituted Pet Lac may be fed at the daily rate of 1 tablespoon (15 mL) per 2 ounces (57 g) body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding.
Animals' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Larger animals do well when fed reconstituted Pet Lac every 8 hours. Small or weak animals may need to be fed reconstituted amounts every 3 or 4 hours. Weigh the animal 3 times a week to assure adequate feeding.
When a food supplement is desired, for growing animals or for supplementing large litters, old or convalescent animals, Pet Lac Powder should be used at the rate of 1 teaspoonful per 5 lbs (2.2kg) body weight.
Consult your veterinarian for advice. Not for human consumption.
    Pregnant and lactating mothers:
Mix Pet Lac Powder into the daily ration at the rate of 2 tablespoons per 5 lbs (2.2 kg) body weight until 2 weeks after whelping.
    Storage Conditions:
Pet Lac Powder should be refrigerated after opening for up to 3 months or frozen for up to 6 months. Reconstituted liquid must be refridgerated and store no more than 24 hours.
