VINTAGE ANTIQUE GERMAN HANGING SCALE BRASS WITH MOON SHAPED DIAL UNIQUE RARE

Description

This is very interesting scale that is in good condition. It has the word “GREMANY” stamped into the brass dial. One side of the dial has smaller numeric increments then the other side. Possibly English vs. metric? The scale has a nail that is used to hold the small ring in place, so there probably is a piece missing. I was able to actuate the needle by pulling on the large ring and the small hook. The needle actuation mechanism is really quite unique and I have never seen anything like it before. Very cool.
